This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Supervision/ Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DOD Cyber Defense Command (DCDC).
What You'll Do
- →Independently leads and manages multiple projects, providing overall direction, prioritizing tasks, resolving issues, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- →Provides advanced technical support, guidance, and analytical advice to staff and customers on a wide range of complex information management and technology issues.
- →Integrates cyber processes into a single repository with standardized measures of performance and ensures process documentation is available and accurate.
- →Directs extensive data analysis to identify potential risks to the information network and provides decision support on cyber operations through analyses and reporting.
- →Functions as an authoritative source on information management software techniques, state-of-the-art software, and programming for resolving unique software problems.
Requirements
- ✓There is no substitution of education for the qualifying experience at the GG-14 grade level.
