What You'll Do
- →This Supervisory Victim Witness Specialist serves as program manager and technical authority for the District's Victim Witness Assistance Program.
- →If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for providing Supervisory Victim Witness Specialist support in the U.S.
- →Attorney's Office, Eastern District of New York, located in Brooklyn, New York, focusing in the areas of program analysis and oversight within the District..
- →Typical work assignments will include: Analyzes, evaluates, and administers comprehensive programs, projects, and support activities directly impacting the effectiveness of the District.
- →Analyzes public reaction to Departmental programs and policies in developing recommendations that significantly modify the administration of the Victim Assistance Program.
- →Develops and implements a comprehensive Victim Witness Assistance Program that provides support and assistance to victims and/or witnesses of crime.
- →Conducts meetings and conferences for the purpose of obtaining public input on programs and issues.
- →Plans, directs, and performs or supervises the Victim Witness Assistance Program operations within the District.
