What You'll Do
- →Provides expertise, direction, and oversight on specialized Planning policies, processes, and procedures across the Planning Division of the Logistics Policy and Programs organization.
- →Provides oversight and executes all policies, procedures, guidance, and control of the functional aspects of the Planning process.
- →Responsible for the review, analysis, and development of Planning policy, procedures, and business rules for DLA, evaluating and recommending disposition of requests for waivers to statutory requirements and deviations.
- →Key participant in activities related to initiation, development, and recommendation of legislation pertaining to the Planning process area.
- →Develops innovative strategies and procedures to overcome process problems and evaluate, maintain, and improve Planning performance.
- →Responds to industry and congressional concerns, making recommendations regarding specialized Planning matters requiring resolution at the senior Agency, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), or Congressional levels.
- →Directs the work of the branch, as well as teams of Planning specialists located at field activities to review and evaluate process strategies and ensure compliance with agency needs.

- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
