Selections may be made by various USMS Districts in the duty locations listed within this announcement. The selectee of this position serves as a Supervisory Program Support Specialist. You will be responsible for providing advice and assistance to management on human resources, financial, budget management, procurement, property management, records management, conducting management and program analysis studies, and maintaining and implementing internal controls for all program areas.
What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Program Support Specialist at the GS-0301-12 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Working closely with the Administrative Officer (AO) on implementing processes for providing administrative services for the district's main and/or sub-office(s).
- →Supervising a subordinate staff of administrative, technical and clerical personnel.
- →Setting goals and priorities.
- →Preparing schedules for completion of work.
- →Analyzing the district's financial obligations and expenditures to ensure compliance with USMS policies and procedures.
- →Providing oversight of the property management program.
- →Assuring contractors are performing projects that have quality and timeliness measures in place.

Requirements
- ✓Must complete an initial online questionnaire and additional assessment(s).
- ✓Must pass a pre-employment security investigation and drug screening.
- ✓Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Background Investigation.
- ✓May be required to successfully complete a trial/probationary period.
- ✓May be required to successfully complete a supervisory probationary period.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.

- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓You must meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
- ✓Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
