The Supervisory Program Specialist provides senior-level analytical and evaluative support to the Insurance Service Executive Management Officer in assessing the overall effectiveness and efficiency of Insurance Services human resources, initial training programs, developmental programs, training materials development and content, and overall HR and development needs across the organization.
What You'll Do
- →Planning, executing, and overseeing the development and implementation of Insurance Service training curriculum.
- →Plans, develops, executes, and oversees the ultimate assessment of field compliance with the curriculum which is provided to field operations insurance staff, and staff from Insurance service Central Office.
- →Providing guidance and advice on issues associated with technical training.
- →Identifies field training needs through review and analysis of audit findings, surveys, focus groups, and similar tools.
- →Recommending innovative programs and new approaches to improve the effectiveness of training and keep it engaging.
- →Designing and developing insurance training programs, utilizing all appropriate media to include classroom instruction, virtual instruction / distance learning, digital productions, and computer/ web-based training.
- →Designing, developing, and executing competency-based systems and programs, either inhouse, through contractor support, or through support as needed - which includes appropriate oversight of job task analyses, collaboration with contracted or other business line partner resources, and executing on a defined project management plan.
- →Work Schedule: Full time, Monday through Friday Compressed/Flexible: Available (6:00am - 6:00pm).
- →Telework: This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only.
- →The selectee is required to report to the official duty station each scheduled workday.
- →Telework may be approved only on a case-by-case basis with supervisory approval.
- →Routine or recurring telework is not authorized for this position.
- →Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
- ✓As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you will be required to serve a 1-year supervisory probationary period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
