This position located in the Human Capital Service Center (HCSC), VA Human Resources and Administration (HR&A), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). HCSC is a human capital organization with a department wide focus on VA talent development. HCSC functions in coordinating and collaborative role to maximize all Department human capital and employee development resources for its customers.
What You'll Do
- →Under the guidance of the HCSC Directorates, the incumbent partners with HRA leadership and the strategy champions to define and execute a robust Human Capital Management Strategy.
- →Conducts internal reviews to maintain expert knowledge in world class Human Capital management practices and policy.
- →Identifies and tracks measures and trends to determine overall effectiveness of Human Capital management initiatives (of assigned areas) to support the strategic objectives.
- →Develops and maintains positive working relationships including strategy champions and agency senior leadership.
- →Works as part of a core team to integrate various HC solutions.
- →Conducts design, development and implementation activities to support talent identification, assessment, and engagement.
- →Provides managers with the tools, techniques and processes to identify and develop highpotential and other employees.
- →Formulates strategy and sets direction for assigned areas of Human Capital management programs that are consistent with business goals.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 08:00am to 04:30pm Compressed/Flexible: Available with supervisor approval Telework: Eligible Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
