This position is located within U.S. Department of Agriculture, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Civil Rights (OASCR), Program Planning and Accountability Division (PPAD). The incumbent performs a variety of high-level department-wide business functions. The position will be filled as a temporary promotion or detail. This position may be made permanent without further competition.
What You'll Do
- →Provides advice and guidance to the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights.
- →Serves as first-line program expert responding to human and financial resource related matters for the organization.
- →Provides input in a myriad of functions i.e. financial resources, human resources, facilities management, process improvement, and Continuity of Operations (COOP).
- →Provides strategic planning.
- →Provides technical and administrative direction to staff of employee ranging from grades GS-09 to 14.
- →Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies procedures, and directives of management.
- →Conceives, plans and conducts financial analyses, evaluations and investigations in critical program area.
- →Designs procedures to evaluate OASCR workforce performance and efficiency.
- →Designs tools to measure OASCR effectives and goal outcomes.
