You will serve as a Supervisory Program Manager on the Staff of the Commander, United States Fleet Forces Command within N042, an Echelon II command of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.
What You'll Do
- →You will direct the comprehensive planning for Force Protection (FP) readiness at both strategic and operational levels.
- →You will manage the comprehensive identification, assessment, and validation of all security and force protection resource programming actions.
- →You will provide FP strategic direction and develops Program Objective Memorandum (POM) based strategies to articulate and advocate for Navy-wide FP requirements to OPNAV.
- →You will ensure administrative and operational compliance with all DoW and DoN FP program guidance, and develops and implements objectives via the NAVNORTH FP OPORD 3300.
- →You will manage an annual AT/FP budget for Higher Headquarters Operational Assessments (HHOA) and protection-related travel, initiating action to secure future funding and mitigate the impact of budget reductions.
- →You will provide direct oversight of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) policy and its execution, ensuring fairness and equity in all personnel management actions including hiring, promotions, training, and awards.
- →You will direct the establishment, planning, and execution of FP Operational Exercises and HHOA.
- →You will coordinate the programming and fielding of equipment and systems to deter, detect, defend against, and mitigate attacks in support of these missions, ensuring long-term sustainment and configuration control Navy-wide.
- →You will lead coordination with the Joint Staff, U.S.
- →NORTHCOM, OPNAV, and other partners to leverage emerging technologies and provide mitigation strategies against all-domain unmanned threats to naval forces executing MHD and MHLS operations.
- →You will ensure all NAVNORTH Force Protection efforts, plans, and requirements are fully aligned with U.S.
- →NORTHCOM and U.S.
- →STRATCOM Campaign Plans and Operational Orders.
