About the Position: Join us at the United States Southern Command. We provide direct support to a four-star unified Combatant Commander, but compact enough that our staff works with senior leadership representatives of our inter-service, inter-agency and international partner organizations. What You'll Do
- →Supervise civilian, military, and contractor personnel supporting Detention Operations and Office of Military Commissions (OMC) activities, including work assignments, performance management, training, and leave.
- →Coordinate SOUTHCOM detention operations requirements, reporting, policy updates, and planning input across directorates, JTF Guantánamo, and interagency partners.
- →Facilitate Military Commissions trial-support activities by organizing coordination forums, site visits, logistics, information flow, and reporting among OMC, Joint Staff, and partner organizations.
- →Develop detention policy updates, standard operating procedure recommendations, force-management documentation, and analytical input for senior-leader decision.
