About the Role
This position is located in Minnesota Passport Agency, Directorate of Passport Services, Bureau of Consular Affairs, Department of State. This position serves as a Supervisory Program Manager, with a working title of Assistant Director. The incumbent contributes toward the directorate's policy guidance efforts by assisting the agency's Director to lead the Passport Agency. What You'll Do
- →Actively participating in nationwide strategic planning for the management of the passport function.
- →Analyzing the prevailing political, social, and economic conditions that could impact changes and analyzing trends in efforts to obtain passports through fraud or deceit in order to develop Passport Services Directorate policies.
- →Participating in the development, justification, and defense of overall annual budget for the Directorate.
- →Identifying and justifying changes needed in levels of resources and developing contingency plans should added resources not be forthcoming.
- →Serves as Acting Director as required and works collaboratively with Headquarters Office Directors to ensure policies and procedures are implemented in a timely and consistent manner.
