You will serve as Branch Chief for the Communication and Stakeholder Branch coordinating communications and operational activities to support all aspects of the commodity procurement program.
What You'll Do
- →The duties may include, but are not limited to: Coordinates communications and operational activities to support all aspects of the commodity procurement program.
- →Develops and implements strategies to directly promote USDA programs and improve communication with internal and external stakeholders, including industry, vendors, processors, and recipients involved in the commodity procurement program.
- →Manages the resolution of complaints, holds, recalls, and other administrative issues involving the procurement program in coordination with contracting staff.
- →Manages the formulation and implementation of outreach programs intended to market the commodity procurement program to new and current program participants, including small businesses.
- →Manages the recruitment, development, and maintenance of viable, engaged, and productive workforce.
- →Plans work within the branch, oversees the flow of work, and assumes responsibility for assuring that all deadlines for completion of work are met.
- →Develops performance standards for team employees and evaluates work performance.
