The primary purpose of this position is to provide planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over administrative positions in the Mental Health Division Manager's office at the Clement J. Zablocki VAMC in Milwaukee, WI.
What You'll Do
- →Duties of the GS 11 Supervisory Program Analyst in the Mental Health Division include: Performs and monitors established administrative management requirements for the Mental Health Division.
- →Applies administrative policies, drafts correspondence, recommendations, reports, and memoranda related to management and administrative programs and issues.
- →Provides advice and guidance to the Mental Health Division management team and Mental Health Division employees on questions and situations related to the administrative services provided.
- →Reviews information and applies standard analytical techniques.
- →Oversees personnel actions across the entire Division ensuring that personnel-related records are maintained in accordance with regulations.
- →Ensures the accurate accounting of Division FTEE and works collaboratively with Human Resources in maintaining and accurately reflecting FTEE on the Mental Health Division organizational chart.
- →Routinely conducts audits of processes and reporting throughout the Mental Health Division Implements administrative policies and procedures for Division-wide areas of responsibility.
- →Provides advice and guidance on the interpretation and application of administrative directives and instructions.
- →Analyzes management plans to determine the impact on administrative processes.
- →Serves as the Time & Leave Approver, for the Mental Health Division Tracks and approves all Division level travel, key, equipment, Position Management, general broadcasts, and more.
- →Works closely with fiscal services to track various budget items and special purpose funds.
- →Reviews budget requests with Mental Health Division Managers and actively participates in the annual budget hearing to Top Management.
- →Advises management officials, supervisors, and employees on the interpretation and application of a variety of human resources policies, practices, and procedures including staffing, classification, employee relations, benefits, time and attendance and related areas.
- →Assists in the coordination and development of the Annual Business Plan, Assists in providing guidance on routine aspects of tasks to support the administration of established quality and productivity programs for the organization.
