- →The primary means toward this end is the development of partnerships among all levels of government and the private sector, including for-profit and non-profit organizations.
- →As a Supervisory Program Advisor, you will: Assist in the implementation and monitoring of issues and programs within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of CPD, requiring contact with Deputy Assistant Secretaries and Division Directors within CPD and with other departmental officials on policy, program evaluation and other issues impacting program responsibilities.
- →Monitor activities in which the Assistant Secretary for CPD has a special interest and keep the Assistant Secretary informed of CPD developments and issues.
- →Resolve a variety of complex legislative, regulatory, financial, and real estate development issues; recommend policies, systems, procedures, and controls to achieve maximum management effectiveness; and upon approval, implement such systems, procedures, and controls.
- →Provide advice and assistance to the Assistant Secretary for CPD concerning the impact that proposed Departmental policies may have upon operations within CPD and serve as a liaison office to determine the impact or resolve conflict with offices in the Department.
- →Have delegated authority to oversee the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of various CPD program activities.
- →He/she is the immediate supervisor of several Special Assistants and office support staff.
Requirements

- ✓Citizen or U.S.
- ✓A probationary or trial period may be required.
- ✓Continued employment is contingent upon supervisory certification that continued employment will benefit the Federal Service; the certification will occur no less than 30 days before the end of the probationary/trial period.
- ✓A one year supervisory or managerial probationary period may be required.
- ✓Must successfully complete a background investigation.
- ✓Public Trust - Background Investigation will be required.
- ✓Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment to determine your suitability for Federal employment, at the time requested by the agency.
- ✓Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer.
- ✓If you are a male applicant born after December 31, 1959, certify that you have registered with the Selective Service System or are exempt from having to do so.
- ✓Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process that requires two forms of identification from the Form i-9.
