What You'll Do
- →Provides enterprise-wide integration support for business requirements, manpower management operations, and special projects for the DLA Chief of Staff Portfolio.
- →Directs the accomplishments of sourcing activities through a subordinate staff of professional and technical positions.
- →Completes market research to develop requirements for prime vendor arrangements, corporate contracts, and other very complex long-term contracts (LTCs) Long-Term Contracts to include Prime Vendor arrangements.
- →Identifies key contract process, discovers systemic issues, and recommends solutions.
- →Serves as the principal liaison between HQ DLA and other MSC/D/J codes and policy communities on very Complex and highly visible issues.
- →Assists with identifying the best sourcing strategy for an item, including the use of long-term contracts, Strategic Supplier Relationships, and other contracting vehicles.
- →Assesses new areas of opportunity and develops business plan proposals/recommendations to meet sourcing objectives.
