About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoW Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Serves as Supervisory Police Officer. Responsible for administering and supervising a staff comprised of patrol supervisors, military police patrols, DA police supervisors, military police investigators, traffic accident investigators and desk sergeants comprised of military and civilian personnel.
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for administering and supervising a staff comprised of patrol supervisors, military police patrols, DA police supervisors, military police investigators, traffic accident investigators and desk sergeants.
- →Serves as supervisor of military, civilians and local national.
- →Exercises knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in carrying out work of the organization.
- →Applies procedures and practices within the framework of established law enforcement guidelines.
- →Carries out assignments independently and exercises leadership in maintaining law and order within the guidelines of the DES mission.
- →Ensures the security of foreign diplomats, dignitaries, high ranking military and elected U.S. government officials.
- →Supervises day-to-day patrol operations of subordinate assigned patrol areas.
- →Monitors DA police work performance to include reviewing the blotter, daily staff journal, patrol and military police reports.
- →Issues violation notices to violators and prepares police reports.
