About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for certain personnel of the DoD workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Police Officer for the Directorate of Emergency Services at Fort Huachuca, AZ. This is an obligated position.
What You'll Do
- →Serve as a Shift Supervisor for the Law Enforcement force assigned under the authority of the Senior Commander at IMCOM supported installations.
- →Supervisory Police Officers are responsible for responses to and investigates emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service.
- →Appear in court to testify as required in Military Court Martials or Federal and State Court proceedings.
- →Operate the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) terminal in accordance with federal and state laws to transcribe data.
- →Perform supervisory and administrative duties relating to the police force.
- →Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
