About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The incumbent serves as a Shift Supervisor for the Law Enforcement force assigned under the authority of the Senior Commander at IMCOM supported installations.
What You'll Do
- →You will respond to and investigate emergency calls, complaints and other calls for service; exercises search and apprehension authority, detains witnesses, apprehends suspects, etc.
- →You will conduct traffic law enforcement patrol using specialized equipment such as radar, Lidar and breathalyzer.
- →You will perform protection duties to deter, detect, and deny unauthorized access at fixed installation, internal compound, and incident perimeter posts.
- →You will operate the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) terminal in accordance with federal and state laws to transcribe data.
- →You will plan and assign work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
