About the Role
You will serve as a Supervisory Police Officer (Assistant Operations Officer) in the Provost Marshal Office/Marine Corps Police Department of BLOUNT ISLAND COMMAND.
What You'll Do
- →You will assist in directing and providing technical, operational and administrative supervision as well as making major decision and taking actions that have a direct and substantial effect on PMO or MCPD communities.
- →You will assist in planning, managing, directing and evaluating law enforcement and security operations; initiate, establish and plan mission priorities.
- →You will plan and implement current and long-range operations based on workload trends and projected requirements; develop and implement Force Protection Condition (FPCON) plans, procedures, processes and measures.
- →You will direct the day-to-day technical and administrative work of a group of police officers and support staff (e.g., military, civilian).
- →You will assist in the managing of required training, sustainment training and training on new policies and laws; perform periodic and special statistical, financial and productivity analysis and evaluations on short and long range requirements.
- →You will direct personnel during a catastrophic event following Federal emergency response plans to control the situation.
- →You will respond to problems or questions involving the implementation of law enforcement and security guidelines.
Requirements
- ✓No substitution of education or training may be made for the required specialized experience at the GS-06 level or above.
