This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for certain personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) handles the day-to-day operations of Army installations.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the senior Supervisory Police Officer (Patrol Branch Chief) with the Directorate of Operations at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
- →Responsible for the operational status of all police officers and civilian employees assigned to the following branches; Police Desk, Police Records, Supply and Logistics, Information Technology, and Emergency Communications activities.
- →Performs duties as a supervisory federal police officer performing law enforcement duties in an area of exclusive federal jurisdiction.
- →Ensures that assigned personnel properly execute law enforcement duties for the installation.
- →Performs law enforcement duties in an area of exclusive federal jurisdiction.
- →Responsible for ensuring compliance, and enforcement of a full range of Federal, State, local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations as they pertain to law enforcement work, and the supervision of others engaged in such duties.
