About the Role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY POLICE OFFICER (KENNEL MASTER) in the Provost Marshal Office/Marine Corps Police Department of MARINE CORPS RECRUIT DEPOT.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the supervisor or the Working Dog and Military Working Dog (WD/MWD) section responsible for planning directing, training and managing the operations.
- →You will supervise all subordinate military or civilian WD/MWD handlers on assigned and rotation shifts that routinely deploy.
- →You will develop schedules, coordinates, maintain and lead the WD/MWD training and utilization program to ensure all WD/MWD teams are properly trained and used in all phases of WD/MWD, to include inspections, investigations and law enforcement.
- →You will train WD/MWD handlers in the role of WDs/MWDs in the use of force.
- →You will train WD/MWD handlers as agitators/helpers and ensures all training exercises are conducted as safely as possible.
- →You will assign work to WD/MWD handlers based on priorities, selective consideration of difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of the WD/MWD Handlers.
