What You'll Do
- →Serves as shift supervisor over a group of police officers who provide law enforcement and protective service.
- →Enforces and maintains law and order to deter crime and other violations of law, regulation, policy, directive, or rule and to preserve and or restore the peace.
- →Ensures DLA personnel, facilities, and resources are protected by maintaining adequate anti-terrorism readiness posture.
- →Plans, controls, and supervises the activities and operations of the shift supervised.
- →Inspects shift personnel for minimum standards of appearance, readiness, and equipment operability prior to and during the course of duty assignment, to include observations of patrol posts.
- →Makes periodic inspections of assigned areas, immediately taking corrective action for any discrepancies noted.
Requirements
- ✓Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
