The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a first level supervisor and/or flight/Section chief, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over non-supervisory employees and military members assigned to a Security Forces (SF) Squadron.
What You'll Do
- →Continued from Summary: Responsible for enforcing law, maintaining law and order, preserving the peace, and protecting life and civil rights within the assigned Federal Jurisdiction.
- →Duties: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of a Security Forces Flight/Section, ensuring that personnel comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- →Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- →Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- →Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, mission requirements, equal employment opportunity (EEO) and diversity objectives.
- →Performs and enforces the full spectrum of Police Officer duties within the assigned federal jurisdiction.
- →Performs the full range of installation perimeter access control duties.
- →Performs the full range of duties for defending Protection Level Resources.
- →Patrols restricted/controlled areas, responds to security incidents and performs immediate visual assessments.
- →Perform emergency response and incident command and control.
- →First responder to critical incidents.
