About the Role
This position serves as the Assistant Chief Pharmacist and is also the supervisor of the Outpatient Section of the Pharmacy Department of the Rosebud Comprehensive Health Care Facility (RCHCF). The incumbent is responsible for selected day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Pharmacy and supervises all pharmacy operations in the absence of the Chief Pharmacist. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
What You'll Do
- →Supervises operations of outpatient pharmacy services including but not limited to: personnel management and scheduling, policy management, regulatory adherence, advising on work and administrative matters, resolving complaints, and identifying training needs Provide formal and informal education and in-services to medical staff, pharmacy, nursing staff as requested.
- →Work with physicians to develop protocols for medical and administrative research related to pharmacy.
- →Collaborate with health professionals to develop treatment protocols, standards of practice and policies.

Requirements
