About the Role
This position is located within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, National Park Service - Southeast, Ninety Six National Historic Site in Ninety Six, South Carolina. You may be required to work on-call, evenings, weekends, holidays, overtime and shift work. Salary Range Information GS-11: $74,678 - $97,087 per annum First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the step 1 rate.

- →At the full performance level (GS-11) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: The incumbent of this position serves as the Supervisory Park Ranger (Site Manager) at Ninety Six National Historic Site, located in Ninety Six, SC.
- →The Site Manager is a member of the parks group leadership team reporting directly to the Superintendent at Cowpens National Battlefield (COWP) and Kings MountainNational Military Park (KIMO), approximately 1.25 hours from the site.
- →The incumbent must be self-directed and able to perform duties independently with broad supervisory guidance.
- →The Site Manager is the principal line officer physically present on site, overseeing park operations and work carried out by non-supervisory personnel.
- →Incumbent works collaboratively with the parks group Division Chiefs to carry out programs and operations at the site such as resource preservation, education and interpretation, administration, maintenance, safety management, partnerships, public affairs, budget planning and execution, and site development.
