About the Role
You will serve as a Supervisory Park Ranger with National Park Service. This position is a temporary promotion. Initial appointment is 60 days which may be extended up to an additional 60 days for a total period of 120 days.
What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Park Ranger, you will perform the following duties: Plans and implements policies and programs for interpretation, education, and visitor services.
- →Develops and presents interpretive and education programs to diverse audiences.
- →Plans and manages park social media.
- →Establishes and maintains an internal control program to prevent fraud and waste.
- →Monitors expenditures.
- →Monitors activities of special use permit holders and leaseholders.
- →Plans and conducts interpretive educational training.
Requirements
- ✓Must be a U.S.
- ✓Citizen or National.
- ✓Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
- ✓Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- ✓Direct Deposit participation required.
- ✓Successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.

- ✓Transcripts must include your name, school name, grades, credit hours earned, major(s), grade point average or class ranking, and date the degree was conferred, if applicable.
