About the Role
The United States Attorney's Office for the District of Oregon is seeking an experienced Supervisory Paralegal to serve as Supervisory Paralegal Specialist in our Civil Division. This position is located in our District's headquarters in Portland, in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
What You'll Do
- →If selected for this position, you will serve as a Supervisory Paralegal Specialist within the Civil Division with the United States Attorney's Office, District of Oregon headquarters in Portland.
- →Typical duties will include: Provides administrative and technical supervision to Paralegal Specialists, Legal Assistants and Administrative Staff.
- →Monitors work to ensure high quality of work and deadlines are met.
- →Oversees time and attendance/leave requests, assuring adequate coverage due to workload and absences.
- →Assists with criminal and civil litigation of cases by performing specialized research and writing in support of attorneys.
- →Provides assistance in trial preparation.
- →Produces a variety of written legal documents and materials using a wide range of office software applications.
- →Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
