About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to provide full technical and administrative supervision for the unit. The position is located in the branch of Inpatient Women's Health Unit within the Division of Nursing at the Gallup Indian Medical Center, PHS Indian Hospital, Gallup, New Mexico. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).

- →Assures nursing capabilities, staffing, and equipment requirements to meet the work demands, safety requirements, and accreditation standards.
- →Maintains the continuity and effectiveness of nursing services, to ensure delivery of quality patient care, and to serve as a role model for professional nursing.
- →Maintain competency in nursing skills, knowledge, practices, procedures, leadership and management.
Requirements
