About the Role
About the Position: Serve as a Supervisory Nurse (Otolaryngology/Ophthalmology) within the Defense Health Agency (DHA), North Carolina Coast Market, Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Responsible for assessing, leading, training, planning, directing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and all related clinic management activities.
- →As the first line supervisor, the incumbent assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
- →Provide technical oversight as well as developing performance standards and plans and rates employees.
- →Monitor metrics to identify and solve problems to ensure delivery of quality patient care.
- →Collaborate with Department Heads of Otolaryngology and Ophthalmology to develop, justify and monitor departmental budgets.
- →Evaluate the need for updating the departments’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and implement changes.
- →Identify and address issues that affect patient care outcomes, collaborates with appropriate providers to prevent recurrence of issues.
