About the Role

Serves as facility referral hospitalist for surgical patients. Provide supervisory responsibility for outpatient and acute care services. Additional responsibilities include the planning and implementation of an optimal nursing program. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021). What You'll Do

  • Total Compensation Package - Check out IHS's outstanding total compensation package for this job: Supervise and manage the Healthcare Nursing Program for the outpatient clinic.
  • Plan and delegate nursing care assignments.
  • Evaluate staff work performance and establish patient care priorities.
  • Provide technical guidance and tutorials for developing nursing staff.
  • Construct corrective action plans and exercise authority for decisions and commitments for the nursing care outpatient clinic.
  • Responsible for nursing program compliance to commission board accountability, compiling and analyzing programmatic data to produce reports with response to audits.
