About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Coordinate and assure timely arrival of patients to scheduled procedures during hospitalization.
- →Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on one or more units (surgical, medical or combined units).
- →Collect data systematically in a comprehensive nursing assessment through interviews, observation, physical examination, and review of medical record.
- →Provide managerial direction, input, and feedback on unit effectiveness and patient care to staff and senior leadership regarding unit activities, needs and concerns.
- →Assign nursing staff to patient care duties based on priorities, patient condition and complexity, and expertise of individual staff members.
- →Provide formal and informal instructions for nursing staff.
