About the Position: This position is located at Fort Lee, Virginia in the Family Medicine Clinic (FMC). This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Oversee the scope of practice of nursing services within an ambulatory clinic; Directs and educates staff about organizational policies and initiatives, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and the Defense Health Agency (DHA) policies.
- →Advise senior leadership on nursing matters; reviews, recommends, and implements changes; and collaborates with leadership in the development of regulations, procedures, new methods, and other matters.
- →Provide clinic nursing subject matter expertise and performs specialized direct patient nursing care.
- →Assesses and manages extremely high dollar value medically controlled inventory by reviewing upcoming needs and establishing order schedules.
