About the Position: Work as a Lake Manager, under the general supervision of an Operations Project Manager (OPM), with broad authority for independent action regarding work planning, administrative policies, and major changes in procedures. Relocation and recruitment incentives may be offered to highly qualified candidates. On-site government housing may be available.
What You'll Do
- →Plan, direct, and administer the overall Operation, Maintenance, Park Management and Resource Management program at a multi-purpose project.
- →Supervise implementation and coordination of approved mitigation plans and other authorized land management plans, operational controls, and procedures governing conservation and use of project resources Enforce Title 36 CFR, Part 327, (Rules and Regulations Governing Public Use of Water Resources Development Projects Administered by the Chief of Engineers).
- →Develop, maintain, close and consolidate Corps recreation areas and facilities.
- →Serve as the official representative and spokesman for the Corps of Engineers in contacts with regional directors of federal and state agencies, mayors, county commissioners, federal and county judges, local tourism councils etc.
- →Responsible for the preparation, justification and support of budgets, obligations and expenditure schedules and spreadsheets.
- →Plan, coordinate, evaluate and direct the operation, maintenance, modification and control of project facilities including flood control structures, outlet works and appurtenances.
- →Perform supervisory management duties.
