About the Role
Applicant will serve as a Supervisory Mobility Transportation Specialist - Mobility Manager and manages all Veterans Transportation System (VTS) and Beneficiary Travel (BT) Program activities, including patient transport, Special Mode Travel (SMT), mileage reimbursement claims, transportation contracts, 911 ambulance claims, inter-facility transfers, and common carrier transportation.
What You'll Do
- →The Supervisory Mobility Transportation Specialist - Mobility Manager supervises/ensures the VTS and BT processes comply with regulatory guidance, while assuring program effectiveness.
- →They serve as the Contracting Officer Representative for all transportation contracts, including common carrier, Special Mode, ambulance, and air ambulance.
- →Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 08:00am-4:30pm (Subject to Change Based on the Needs of the Facility) Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
