About the Role
The Supervisory Transportation Mobility Specialist will manage the Veterans Transportation Service and the Beneficiary Travel Program at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. The position manages the facility transportation to Veterans that require assistance traveling to and from VA health care facilities and non-VA health care appointments with the medical center's catchment area.
What You'll Do
- →Provides personnel management and administrative support for the Veteran Transportation Program.
- →Manages the Medical Center transportation budget, analyzes organizational budgets, and provides advice and recommendations to Medical Center Associate Director Maximizes the potential of the Veterans Transportation Program to improve Beneficiary Travel, reduction of Missed Opportunities (no-shows and cancellations by patient) and Medical Center operations.
- →The incumbent documents quality assurance issues pertaining to VTP and participates in national - CBO VTP Program initiatives and pilots, and provides follow-up action regarding any problems pertaining to the quality assurance issues in the Veteran Transportation Program.

Requirements
