Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Detroit Sector, Mission Readiness Operations, located in Selfridge ANG Base, MI. What You'll Do

- →This position starts at a salary of $117,402.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $152,625.00 (GS-13, Step 10).
- →As a Supervisory Mission Support Specialist (Finance), you will perform significant review and analysis of budget, management, training, logistics, procurement, and other areas of mission support resources.
- →Typical work assignments will include: Supervising a team that is responsible for all aspects of the formulation, development, execution phase of the overall aspects of the organization's budget.
- →Managing the Travel Card program by serving as the Certifier or Reviewer to fund and/or approve travel authorizations and vouchers.
- →Performing ongoing mentoring, training and guidance to peers, colleagues, employees and supervisors.
- →Preparing, reviewing, and reconciling budget reports and expenditures.
- →Forecasting and allocating organizational budgetary needs, including providing guidance, assistance, and recommendations to management.
