Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Field Operations, Tucson Field Office, Douglas, AZ . Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
What You'll Do
- →This position is responsible for supervising mission support positions who provide services in direct support of operational programs.
- →In this position, you would plan, direct, coordinate and supervise a staff charged with the responsibility for providing and obtaining a full range of mission support services.
- →Services provided include, but are not limited to, management analysis, personnel management, financial management, office services and systems support.
- →This position starts at a salary of $108,455.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $140,994.00 (GS-13, Step 10) Duties include: Providing technical and administrative supervision to the division.
- →Establishing and carrying out specific action plans or accomplishing short term goals and objectives.
- →Developing and prescribing procedures and techniques and furnishing policy guidance to subordinates, assigns, and explain work requirements to subordinate staff to achieve efficiency of services rendered while increasing productivity.
- →Coordinating with other organization supervisors and peers to establish unit objectives, goals, priorities and deadlines.
- →Making decisions and resolves problems involving interpretation of the law or unusual situations requiring interpretation and application of DHS policy.

Requirements
