This Supervisory MSA position is assigned to the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, all sections within the Imaging Service, within Imaging Service at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center, St. Petersburg, FL.
What You'll Do
- →Supervisory MSAs at this level plan and direct programs at medical centers and/or satellite outpatient clinics.
- →They have full responsibility for supervising at least one subordinate MSA team leader, supervisor, or equivalent administrative patient support staff in a non-VA medical inpatient, outpatient, or interdisciplinary setting.
- →Assignments at this level include, but are not limited to: Responsible for extracting and analyzing Radiology Open orders data on a daily basis.
- →This data will be organized, evaluated, reported and assigned in a daily basis according to staffing availability, prioritized orders, and variations in selections schedules.
- →Assigns, manages, and directs the work of subordinate clerical staff and provides assistance when necessary; directs all open radiology orders in a manner so as to optimize workflow while maintaining flexibility for staffing and workload variations.
- →Assures the individual sections have appropriate staffing coverage.
- →Formulate plans, delegate authority and follow-up on delegated tasks to assure effectiveness of assignments given to subordinate Lead and staff.
- →Responsible for training new staff in all imaging aspects under their direction including specialized cases.
- →Responsible for extracting and analyzing data to provide reports to senior management in support of tracking measures.
- →Performs annual Performance Appraisals for assigned personnel.
- →Perform other duties assigned.
- →Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

Requirements
- ✓You must be a U.S.

- ✓Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- ✓Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
