About the Position: This position is located within Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes
What You'll Do
- →Identify and solve administrative problems or devises alternative to current procedures to improve operations.
- →Supervise the front desk operations, access to care, appointment utilization, template/schedule management, referral management and insures efficient operation of the assigned clinical service.
- →Establish and maintain suspense files on information or reports due from staff on a wide variety of items.
- →Assist the department chief, in conjunction, with assigned Health System Specialist, department administrative staff and the Department of health Care Operations in administering action with their clinical services.
- →Analyze clinical practice using end of month reports, monthly review and analysis from the department of Health Care Operations and other available tools to recommend improvements in the clinic.
