About the Position: This position is located within the Patient Administration and Outpatient Records Office at Moncrief Army Health Clinic at Fort Jackson, South Carolina. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
What You'll Do
- →Directs the daily operations of the Outpatient Medical Records Branch.
- →Develops local policies and standard operating procedures for the medical records section.
- →Evaluates the work performance of assigned personnel.
- →Resolves employee complaints and minor disciplinary issues.
- →Oversees the facility's medical correspondence and Release of Information (ROI)program.
- →Prepares formal reports regarding medical record discrepancies.
- →Compiles requested medical data from various healthcare information systems.
