This position will serve as a Branch Chief who oversees staff at multiple grade levels.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Customer Advocacy Branch Chief in the Servicing and Asset Management Office.
- →Provides active leadership in Equal Employment Opportunity program administration.
- →Directly, and indirectly through Section Supervisors, supervises a staff of administrative and, in some cases, technical employees, responsible for providing assistance to SAMO customers.
- →Defines objectives and general operating procedures; exercises related personnel management functions, which include the development and assignment of goals, objectives and policies for subordinate supervisors and organizations.
- →Initiates and participates in special projects related to multiple RD programs.
- →Researches issues, gathers and analyzes data, and provides reports as necessary.
- →Reviews basic legislative requirements and provides comments to draft legislation.
- →Identifies, reviews, and evaluates program inadequacies.
- →Research escalated accounts originated from national, state, field offices, congressional offices, third parties, Office of General Counsel, U.S.
- →Attorneys, Credit Reporting Authorities, borrowers, regional and state banks, housing agencies, etc.
