This position is located in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Oceanic and Atmospheric Research (OAR), with one vacancy in Silver Spring, MD.
What You'll Do
- →As Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Serve as Division Chief providing oversight of administrative programs and operations, develop policies and guidance for program and administrative personnel, and conduct short and long-range planning to support programmatic goals and objectives.
- →Develop, deliver and manage a wide array of customer-focused administrative services.
- →Manage all phases of the budget process, including planning, formulation, execution and presentation.
- →Serve as financial advisor to management.
- →Provide oversight and administration of policies regarding grants, cooperative agreements and financial assistance programs.
- →Oversee work of subordinates.
- →Provide technical oversight and instruction, develop employee goals and training needs, resolve grievances and complaints, and initiate disciplinary action.
Requirements
- ✓This position will be filled under the DOC Alternative Personnel System (CAPS).
- ✓Under CAPS, positions are classified by career, pay plan, and pay band.
- ✓The ZA-5 is equivalent to the GS-15.
- ✓Key Requirements: Applicants must be U.S.
- ✓Suitable for Federal employment, as determined by background investigation.
