What You'll Do
- →As a SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST at the GS-0346-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Logistics Sustainment Division, Distribution Management Branch.
- →Institutionalizes, researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies supply chain best practices while within DOD/DOW regulations, business process management and business rules.
- →Provides deployment, distribution and logistics expertise for joint capabilities development policy, issues, and processes.
- →Guides the implementation of a very complex logistical network, addressing on a global level the need for synchronized, reliable, and timely distribution processes.
- →Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management.
- →Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with TCC's, Unified Commands, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Staff, Military Services, DLA, GSA, other Federal agencies, and commercial transportation organizations.
