This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight, Marketplace Innovation & Tech Group. As a Supervisory IT Specialist (SYSANALYSIS), GS-2210-15, leads a staff who plans, directs, and coordinates the development, implementation and maintenance of the enterprise- wide security program, and enterprise information technology (IT) standards.
What You'll Do
- →Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
- →Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
- →Reviews work performance of subordinates.
- →Provides ongoing quality assurance reviews of contractor deliverables.
- →Directs and manages collaboration with CMS business owners, partners and stakeholders to ensure processes and requirements are sufficiently documented to achieve specific outcomes.
- →Reviews, analyzes, evaluates, and offers innovative technical solutions to complex problems in the overseeing operations of Marketplace systems.
