What You'll Do
- →Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S.
- →Citizenship and Immigration Services, within Office of the Chief Financial Officer, and are assigned based on the need of the agency.
- →Plans, oversee, and monitor the execution of OMB Circular No.
- →A-123 reviews to ensure the proper design and effectiveness of information technology general and application controls over CFO-Designated systems.
- →Establishing guidelines and performance expectations for staff, observing workers' performance and providing informal feedback and evaluates employee performance.
- →Provide expert advice to process owners, USCIS and DHS leadership on the formulation of corrective action plan strategies, significance of conclusions, and recommendation of solutions to improve USCIS's financial systems internal control posture.
- →Lead the development of directives, standard operating procedures, and/or other related guidance associated with internal control over financial or financially related systems.
- →Represent USCIS at meetings and liaise with USCIS, DHS, OIG, OMB, GAO, Treasury, and Congressional Committee management and staff.
Requirements

- ✓This residency requirement states that candidates must have, for three of the last five years immediately prior to applying for this position; (1) resided in the United States; OR (2) worked for the United States Government as an employee overseas in a Federal or Military capacity, OR (3) been a dependent of a U.S.
- ✓Federal or Military employee serving overseas.
- ✓Supervisory/Managerial Probationary Period: You may be required to serve a twelve-month probationary period upon appointment to this position.
- ✓You may also be required to complete an appropriate supervisory training course within one year of assignment to this position.
- ✓EDUCATIONAL SUBSTITUTION: There is no educational substitution at this grade level.
