About the Position: This position is located at Joint Base San Antonio in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.
What You'll Do
- →Serves as the Global Network Operations Branch, Deputy Chief overseeing daily operations.
- →Directs the strategic oversight and operational integrity of the DHA Global Network Operations Center.
- →Provides executive-level reporting on service delivery performance to support 137,000+ DHA customers worldwide.
- →Liaises with technical experts to develop operational procedures that ensure the availability, delivery, and security of global network services.
- →Leads business process re-engineering efforts to optimize cost-effectiveness and operational sustainment.
- →Evaluates contractor performance against complex contractual benchmarks.
- →Represents the organization in high-visibility inter-agency forums involving the VA, Military Departments, or consumers of the Federal Electronic Health Record.
- →Directly supervises Information Technology Specialists; performs a full range of supervisory duties for a diverse workforce including civilian employees and contractor personnel.
- →Establishes organizational priorities, manages complex workloads, and mentors subordinates in professional development.
