This position serves as a Supervisory Inventory Management Specialist for non-expendable (NX) assets/materials for the Logistics Service within the VA Health Care System supervising multiple supply or material classes/series and recognized as the Material Management Division's subject matter expert serving as an advisor and consultant to the Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO) and Assistant CSCO on property management matters.

- →Selectee may be required to serve one year supervisory/managerial probationary period.

- →The SF-50 must identify the position title, series, grade, step, tenure and type of service (Competitive or Excepted).
- →In some cases, more than one SF-50 may be required to show a higher grade previously held.
- →This position is not a Bargaining Unit position.
- →This position is covered by locality-based comparability pay.
- →The incumbent may be required to travel to other VA campuses and CBOCs.
- →This position is subject to review and possible re-classification in accordance with government wide Office of Personnel Management (OPM) standards.
- →Reviews could result in a change to lower grade.
Requirements
