About the Role
About the Position: The incumbent will be responsible for supervising a team of in plant engineers in planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing technical services required for operation and maintenance of hydropower facilities.
What You'll Do
- →Ensures region wide fulfillment of NERC Reliability Compliance Program Standards Performs regional, district, and system technical validation, reliability, and compliance program management Provide professional technical guidance to other employees involved in hydropower engineering processes.
- →Represents the Division/District on compliance matters Supports regional hydropower program in identifying requirements, prioritizing projects, developing regulations and operating procedures Coordinate compliance activities with managers and staff elements.
- →Serve as technical representative for negotiation and administration of contracts.
- →Plan, organize, coordinate, and review the work of other engineers and technicians to ensure the effective achievement of engineering tasks.
- →Analyze project proposals submitted by installations and organizations; recommend changes and/or approve proposals.
- →Gives technical advice to improve facility operations and maintenance activities Plan, organize, coordinate, and review the work of other engineers and technicians to ensure the effective achievement of engineering tasks.
- →Evaluate programs and projects to assure compliance with all NERC and other applicable environmental, energy use, safety, and security standards.
- →Analyze project proposals submitted by installations and organizations; recommend changes and/or approve proposals.
- →Establish performance standards and make evaluations for directly supervised subordinate positions.
- →Evaluate programs and projects to assure compliance with all environmental, energy use, safety, and security standards.
- →Articulate and communicate to engineers and team members their roles, functions, and project milestones.
- →Establish performance standards and make evaluations for directly supervised subordinate positions.
- →Advise management officials of higher rank on technical and programmatic matters.
- →Provides communication and coordination with District senior leadership.
