What You'll Do
- →You will serve as the Supervisory IT Specialist in the Navy Enterprise Networks Directorate, General Services (GENSER) Division of the Naval Information Forces (NAVIFOR) Headquarters located in the Department of Defense Suffolk Complex.
- →You will perform a full range of supervisory responsibilities for subordinate staff.
- →You will evaluate work performance, prepare performance plans and job objectives, and conduct mid-term and annual performance assessments.
- →You will serve as the team lead in the strategic planning, execution, and reporting for ONE-Net transition into the NMCI architecture which includes the NGEN operating the Command and Control (C2) environment.
- →You will develop doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, personnel, and facilities framework to assess current and future enterprise network requirements and execute gap analysis to inform implementation planning.
- →You will identify and coordinate actions to mitigate NNE NetOps capability and readiness gaps (people, process and technology).
- →You will support development of request for proposal/Performance Work Statements in accordance with approved acquisition policy and planning to ensure NetOps and network C2 requirements are incorporated and accounted for.
