About the Role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST (PROJECT MANAGER) in the WATERFRONT OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (CODE 300) of SOUTHEAST REG MAINTENANCE CTR SERMC.
What You'll Do
- →You will use expert experience to manage and supervise complex overhauls to US Naval ships for repair and modernization.
- →You will develop work packages for scheduled ship availabilities.
- →You will provide cost estimates to the Contracts Department to establish government position for fair and reasonable pricing.
- →You will develop and use spreadsheets to track and monitor expenditures You will develop statements of work and reports using MS Word.
- →You will review and interpret production schedules to monitor contractor performance.
- →You will provide presentations to senior managers on job status.
- →You will be responsible for communicating/briefing project status at scheduled meetings.
Requirements
- ✓GS-12: There is not education equivalent.
