What You'll Do
- →As a Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Empl Rel/Labor Rel) you will be responsible for the following duties: Serves as a senior technical expert and program manager for the agency's Labor Relations, Employee Relations, Performance Management, SAPR and Drug Testing programs.
- →Advises all levels of management on HR issues, including contract interpretation, partnership initiatives, and disciplinary actions.
- →Acts as the primary contact for labor-management matters, including grievances, unfair labor practices, and sharing information with union officials.
- →Represents management in third-party proceedings by preparing cases, advising, and participating in labor-management negotiations by developing management's position.
- →Develops and conducts training for supervisors and employees on HR topics like employee relations and performance management.
- →Planning, directing, and supervising HR specialists to meet strategic goals, assigning work based on priorities, setting schedules, and ensuring task completion.
- →Resolves employee complaints and grievances, handles minor disciplinary actions, and refers serious issues to higher-level management.
